The keynote speaker will be Sally Fallon Morell, President of The Weston A. Price Foundation. Sally is a journalist, chef, nutrition researcher, homemaker, and community activist. She is the author of Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats. She also serves on the board of the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund.
Gary Scott of Twin Springs Farm will discuss Biological Farming and Initiatives across the state to develop local food systems. Twin Springs Farm is a member of the Nelson County Farmers Market Cooperative. Gary has been a presenter at the Virginia Association of Biological Farming (VABF) and Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Group (SSAWG).
We will be providing finger foods and beverages served by Claudia’s Catering
The cost to cover the food and beverages is $25.
