RVCC: Where community happens!
What we do: Located in a 1938 school building, the Rockfish Valley Community Center is a non-profit, community-based, membership organization that houses and facilitates recreational, educational and cultural programs for the enjoyment of Nelson County citizens and visitors of the Rockfish Valley.
 
In addition to our programs, we are able to provide space for rent or trade to people and organizations with missions similar to our own.
  
Who does it: We’re a community of people, working together to move the Center forward!
  • Over 300 supporters who have become members of RVCC
  • The ten-member volunteer Board of Directors
  • A growing roster of tenants
  • A small staff consisting of Center Manager, two theater directors and several thrift store employees
As caretakers of this school building, we all strive to maintain a safe and welcoming place for people of all ages and walks of life.
